Biography of CM Yogi Adityanath A politician and Mahant (head priest) of Gorakhnath Math, a Hindu temple in Gorakhpur. He is a member of Bharatiya Janata Party. He is the founder of a youth organization Hindu Yuva Vahini. He is presently the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

On April 20, 2020, his father Anand Kumar Bhist passed away in the morning at AIIMS, Delhi. He expressed grief over the death of his father. Due to the effectiveness of the lockdown and the plan to destroy COVID-19, he did not attend the funeral on April 21, 2020.
